| The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified companies or organizations to establish and operate the ATCC. The operation of the ATCC is to facilitate prompt communication and coordination of available hospital resources. Call center operators will triage and advise on transport of major trauma patients to hospitals with the appropriate capability to provide optimum care. This agreement establishes the operation of call center command and communications networks and requires the collection and reporting of specified data sets for quality improvement and evaluation of the Arkansas Trauma System. Respondents who do not submit a timely letter of intent by 4pm on March 2, 2010 are deemed ineligible to submit a proposal. |

(RFA)Community Health Centers Program (CHCP) |
| Eligible applicants to this program are all Arkansas Community Health Centers that currently receive federal funds via the U.S. Public Health Services Act, Section 330 as of February 1, 2010 and remain an eligible 330 center throughout the upcoming grant year ending June 30, 2011. Each health center is entitled to submit one application. The application must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 2, 2010. |

| The Arkansas Charitable Clinics Grant Program is funded by Act 180 of 2009, Tobacco Excise Tax Act. The intention of the Program is to strengthen health care systems and services at the local level for Charitable Clinics, thereby increasing the number of Arkansans receiving health care services. The intent of the legislation is to provide the Arkansas Department of Health with resources to assist Charitable Clinics in providing basic primary care, dental and behavioral health services for free or at low cost to those persons unable to pay for medical care.Submittal information must be received at the Arkansas Department of Health /Office of Rural Health & Primary Care (ORHPC) on or before 4:00 p.m., March 2, 2010. |

| Funding Opportunities |
Rural Health and Primary Care works with numerous organizations to coordinate rural health resources and activities statewide. This office administers several grant programs for small hospitals and committees seeking to improve or enhance health services in rural areas of our state. Rural Health and Primary Care provides technical assistance to organizations and communities wishing to expand access to primary care for underserved populations. They work to recruit and retain health care professionals in rural areas and underserved areas of Arkansas and provide technical assistance to the Critical Access Hospitals in the state. |
